Chiropractic Adjustments - Dr. Schauer utilizes a variety of techniques depending on the condition and preference of the patient. She uses diversified manual technique, Arthrostim instrument, drop table, blocking, and soft tissue release techniques. She has taken classes in A.R.T. (Active Release Technique).

Dr. Schauer has a fellowship with the International Pediatric Association and is certified in the Webster Breech Technique. She is well versed in the treatment of pregnant moms and children.

Dr. Schauer is a functional chiropractor. In addition to improving spinal function Dr. Schauer recommends stretches and exercises to help make lasting changes.

On Site Massage Therapy - Marles Blackbird, LMT offers massages from 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. Marles utilizes the following modalities of massage; Lomi Lomi, Polarity, Russian, Shiatsu, Swedish, and Trigger Point.

We accept Auto Accident, L&I (Labor and Industry claims), Medicare, Personal Injury, and Workers Comp. patients.

Billing - We will gladly bill your insurance and verify your chiropractic and massage benefits coverage for you.

Dr. Wendy Receives the 2005 Women of Achievement Award!

November 2, 2005. Olympia, WA, – The Honorable Governor of Washington State, Mrs. Christine Gregoire on Wednesday presented Dr. Wendy M. Schauer, DC, RKC with the award for this year’s “Woman of Influence” at a ceremony by the YWCA.

Presented once each year, the YWCA Women of Achievement Awards are given to women in the community who have made significant contributions within specific arenas as a volunteer or through their career.
