CHIROPRACTIC AND CHILDREN
Q. Should my child see a
chiropractor?
A. Yes, starting in that all-important first year of
life - to deal with the trauma from birth, and the many
bumbles and falls of crawling, and learning to sit up
and walk. Tremendous growth and change take place
in their little bodies and uncorrected problems can show
up later in life. Chiropractors are trained in
using safe and effective care for children. A
complete chiropractic examination is important to give
your child a head start on staying well for life.
Q. What conditions can
chiropractic treat?
A. Chiropractic has been shown to be effective treating
many childhood health conditions. Sports,
backpacking, and falls my create spinal trauma and
problems that can be detected early. Some
childhood problems appear clearly related to the spine
such as scoliosis (an abnormal spinal curvature).
For other health concerns, correcting spinal
subluxations can free the child's body to do its own
healing. Your chiropractor can advise you and help
- just ask.
